Description This course introduces the student to the various types of research and experimental methods. Emphasis is placed on proper experimental design including power calculations. Emphasis is also placed on identifying and eliminating sources of error involving improper collection, treatment, and interpretation of data, and therefore reaching erroneous conclusions.
