This course will assist students to learn the fundamental aspects of insurance, collections, patient management and practice organizational skills required by the graduating healthcare provider in preparing for work in a private practice setting. The focus will be on managing insurance, billing and procedure codes, med-legal claims, and business preparation. Active class participation and guest speakers will be utilized.
