ACHM 1001 - Anatomy and Physiology with Lab I Description During this course, students will establish a foundation in Anatomy and apply their knowledge to clinical problems. The course will present a comprehensive survey of cell and tissue structure and function, as well as microscopic, gross, and neuroanatomy. Students will learn about the human musculoskeletal system, nervous system, skeletal system, blood, and lymphatic system. Neurochemistry and neurophysiology will also be discussed. Instruction includes lectures, small group discussions, and laboratory sessions involving human dissection and physiology.
