HGEN 0520 - Introduction to Counseling Psychology Description This introductory graduate course provides a general overview of the counseling profession. Students will examine roles and responsibilities of counselors across a variety of settings. The students will learn about the interconnections between culture and counseling practice. They will also learn about ethical codes and legal statutes in the counseling field.
