HGEN 0521 - Genetic Counseling as a Career Description This course will introduce students to many aspects of a career in genetic counseling. This includes discussing typical components of a clinical genetic counseling session, common roles a genetic counselor may have in the healthcare system including clinical, industry, and research roles. In addition, students will have an opportunity to practice taking a pedigree and drafting a genetic counseling graduate school application.
