HGEN 0523 - Clinical Case Studies in Genetic Counseling Description This course will walk you through the many ethical issues that are surfacing in common genetics practice. Ethical topics covered in the course include those relating to prenatal and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, assisted reproductive technologies, incidental findings in genetic testing, gene patenting, testing children for adult-onset disorders, direct-to-consumer testing, and research studies.
