OTAZ 600 - Foundations of Occupational Therapy

Description
This course examines the historical foundations, philosophical base, core values, and code of ethics of the profession. Occupation-based models of practice and the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF) are examined with a focus on analysis of the domain of occupational therapy. Structured learning experiences facilitate professional development and the transition to professional roles, including an experiential lab component.
