OTAZ 630 - Fieldwork Seminar 1A: Mental Health & Community

Description
This course emphasizes the development of professional reasoning, therapeutic use of self and the occupational therapy process in addressing mental & behavioral health functions applied to occupational performance with a focus on the socialization of professional behavior and attitudes. Simulation and faculty-led experiences promote an organized approach to implementation of the occupational therapy process including evaluation, intervention, and targeting of outcomes. Additionally, this course covers service delivery models within psychiatric and non-psychiatric settings.
