DPT 625 - Musculoskeletal Practice I Description Initiates the clinical application of biomechanics, functional movement, and examination principles for musculoskeletal dysfunction of the lumbar spine, pelvis, and hip regions. The pathology of common disorders seen in physical therapy practice related to these regions will be emphasized including etiology, epidemiology, and clinical signs and symptoms. Concentrates on the application of psychomotor skills related to regional palpation, examination, and evidence-based interventions emphasizing patient education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
