DPT 634 - Management of the Aging Adult

Description
Introduces the physiologic changes of aging and sociologic and economic consequences of an aging population. Reviews natural aging processes and how complicating factors such as vascular compromise, fall risk, and comorbidities negatively impact the aging adult. Lab activities focus on evidence based physical and cognitive outcome measures, patient management skills for the aging adult patient.
