DPT 653 - Advanced Therapeutic Interventions

Description
Develops advanced clinical reasoning and intervention skills for management of patients with neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction. This course is a progression of techniques related to spinal stabilization, movement impairments, and soft tissue dysfunction. Interventions include a progression of exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, manipulation, mobilization, muscle energy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and an introduction to dry needling. Lab activities use case scenarios to challenge clinical reasoning for the development and progression of comprehensive treatment plans.
