MSGC 525 - Principles & Practices of Genetic Counseling II Description The Principles & Practices of Genetic Counseling II course is an in-depth foundational course in the principles of genetic counseling with an introduction to advanced clinical practice skills. Students will engage in activities which teach risk assessment, shared decision-making processes, communication of test results, patient health literacy and advocacy. Students will gain an understanding of the critical elements of clinical practice needed for successful completion of practicum experiences.
