AYWCLIN 51 - Ayurvedic Wellness Clerkship I Description The Ayurvedic Wellness Clerkship I course is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary for Ayurveda clinical practice. Course content includes professional ethical standards, history taking, patient examination, and identifying DOSHAS, DHATUS, MALAS, SROTAS, and AGNI imbalance. Students become familiar with required clinic forms, and receive HIPAA and FERPA training and clinic orientation. Clinical students actively participate in case discussions, learn about red flag symptoms, when to refer to other medical specialists, and various other educational experiences that prepare them to participate further in the clinical education program.
