OTPP 610 - Contemporary and Emerging OT Practice Description This course reviews current and innovative emerging practices areas in the field of occupational therapy. The utilization of evidence-based research, in collaboration with clinical and critical reasoning skills will be used to develop areas of practice which meet the diverse needs of clients in the community. An in-depth exploration of regulations and competencies essential for advancing innovative practices in occupational therapy that contribute to improved client well-being is emphasized. Additionally, this course will analyze the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and advocacy, equipping students to lead and implement successful emerging practices in the field of occupational therapy.
