OTPP 622 - Critical Analysis in OT Practice Description This course focuses on the advanced application of occupational therapy (OT) practice theories to improve various practice areas, driving innovation and better clinical outcomes. The course provides quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research designs, applying these approaches to case studies, treatment programs, and clinical settings. Emphasizing the importance of evidence-based practice, learners will gather, evaluate, and disseminate scholarly research to address clinical problems, fostering their ability to contribute to the advancement of OT practice. Scholarly inquiry will be used in the development of occupational therapy knowledge to improve practice, enhance education, and to further professional accountability of occupational therapy practitioners.
