BSHS 0404 - Integrative Health Promotion Description This course provides an overview of information, perspectives, and competencies needed to effectively promote health and quality of life in community health education and health promotion, public health, and health care settings. The student will learn how to identify community assets, the steps commonly used in the planning process and how to develop an intervention to address a health problem in a specific population. In this class the student will also learn how to develop a research design for a specific population and identify the difference in program vision, mission, goals, and objective statements.
