CL 0504 - Clinical Reasoning IV Description This case-based course builds on the clinical reasoning skills and concepts developed in CR I through CR III, further enhancing students’ abilities to apply preclinical concepts in simulated clinical scenarios. CR IV will facilitate the ongoing development of students’ abilities to deliver evidence-informed, patient-centered care. The course emphasizes aligning appropriate treatment with diagnosis while prorioritizing patients’ individual needs, preferences and values. Through this course, students will refine their clinical judgement in areas of history taking, physical examination and overall patient assessment. Instruction will be delivered through lectures, individual tasks, and small-group activities designed to foster a deeper understanding of patient management and clinical care.
