Description
This case-based course is designed to help the student integrate pre-clinical basic science concepts into simulated clinical cases. Basic science subject matter including anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, biomechanics, and x-ray physics will be reinforced through stepwise application in simulated clinical situations. The student is expected to apply their knowledge of these subjects, guiding their clinical judgment in areas of history taking, physical examination, orthopedic and neurologic assessment, and patient management. Classroom instruction includes individual, small-group and large-group activities.

Course Description:
This course aims to integrate basic science concepts-such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, and biomechanics-into simulated clinical cases. Students are expected to apply this knowledge in simulated clinical scenarios, focusing on history taking, physical examination, and patient management. Engaging in individual and small-group activities, students will practice and refine their clinical judgment and decision-making skills. By methodically approaching each case and actively participating in discussions, students will bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enhancing their ability to manage real-world patient care effectively.
