CDX 0708 - Emergency Procedures Description This course prepares the student for common medical emergencies that may be encountered in the prehospital setting. It includes practical skills and training in the care and recognition of cardiac, respiratory, and other medical emergencies and trauma. It requires competence in basic life support, bandaging, splinting, primary and secondary assessment, diagnosis, and clinical decision making to properly triage and manage emergency conditions.
