DWHL 650 - International Healthcare Systems, Policies, and Whole Health Models

Description
This independent study course invites students to explore the healthcare system of their country of residence. Students will examine the system’s historical development, structure, and key policies, with attention to financing and political influences. Students will also examine current healthcare delivery models and analyze them in relation to elements of Whole Health systems. Through research, reflective writing, and a final project, students will develop a nuanced perspective on the strengths, challenges, and future directions of healthcare in their country.
