AYPG I - Clinical Internship for Ayurvedic Practitioners Description The Clinical Internship is for Ayurvedic Practitioners who want to deepen their hands-on clinical skills and the practical application of Ayurvedic pathology, diagnosis, and herbal medicine in a clinical setting. Interns complete a 60-hour, 15-week clinical rotation under the supervision of Ayurvedic clinical faculty. Student interns will actively participate in patient care and in various other educational experiences. Under the direct supervision of clinical faculty, clinic students will interview patients, perform appropriate physical assessments and therapies, and determine Ayurvedic recommendations. Clinical interns are required to demonstrate appropriate hygiene in the clinical environment and effective communication with a diverse audience, generate and maintain accurate patient records, and comply with ethical standards and responsibilities involving patient care.
