OCTH 0705 - Capstone Culmination and Professional Preparation Description In this course, students complete their culminating doctoral manuscript and disseminate the findings from their scholarly work. The completed final written capstone manuscript and oral presentation will demonstrate synthesis of advanced knowledge in their chosen topic area(s), application of theory to practice, and excellence in critical thinking, health equity, occupational justice, lifestyle health and/or inter-disciplinary collaboration. This course also includes integration of curricular content for professional practice through simulated standardized examination in preparation for the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
