OCTH 0651 - Fieldwork Level IB and Seminar Description Course Description:Participation in traditional and emerging practice areas in occupational therapy, inclusive of behavioral health, for adults and older adults. Exploration of health and disability via hands-on experience with supervision to practice professional skills and influence occupational performance, behavioral health, and health promotion. Relationship to Curricular Design:This second of four Level I Fieldwork courses is embedded into the curriculum in Term 2 to provide the student with the experiential component of the curriculum. That is, students ‘learn by doing’ and begin to practice what it means to be a professional and utilize therapeutic use of self in simulated and live client/patient scenarios.
