DMSC 635 - Planning and Management to Promote Population and Whole Health

Description
This course provides an overview of planning and management of programs to address whole health and population health needs. The student will learn how to assess a population’s needs, and the steps required when identifying the population’s assets and capacity. The student will apply this knowledge to design, plan for implementation and evaluation for a health promotion program for a specific population. The student will gain the practical application of theories and models when designing an evidence-based health promotion program.
