OTAZ 630 - Fieldwork Seminar 1A: Mental Health & Community Description This course emphasizes the development of professional reasoning, therapeutic use of self, and the occupational therapy process in addressing mental & behavioral health functions applied to occupational performance with a focus on student’s development of professional communication and behaviors. Educator and faculty-led simulation experiences promote the occupational therapy process including evaluation, intervention, and targeting of outcomes. Includes service delivery models within psychiatric and non-psychiatric settings.
