OTAZ 631 - Fieldwork Seminar 1B: Physical Disabilities

Description
In this course, professional reasoning and client-centered care is emphasized with a focus on students’ development of professional communication and behaviors. This fieldwork course provides opportunities to observe and practice occupation-based interventions and therapeutic skills introduced in didactic courses. Educator and faculty-led simulation experiences promote a systematic occupational therapy process including evaluation, intervention, and targeting of outcomes for the treatment of adults and older adults with physical, and neurological disabilities as well as the psychosocial impact on occupational engagement. Includes service delivery models for adult and older adult populations in various settings.
