OTPP 610 - Contemporary and Emerging OT Practice Description This course reviews current and innovative emerging practice areas in the field of occupational therapy. The utilization of evidence-based research, in collaboration with clinical and critical reasoning skills, will be used to develop areas of practice which meet the diverse needs of clients in the community. An in-depth exploration of regulations and competencies essential for advancing innovative practices in occupational therapy that contribute to improved client well-being is emphasized. Additionally, this course will analyze and evaluate the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and advocacy, equipping students to lead and implement successful emerging practices in the field of occupational therapy.
