DWHL 753 - Capstone Proposal Description In this course, students develop a comprehensive proposal for their Capstone Project under the guidance of their mentor and capstone coordinator. The course provides guidance on project management and design, methodology, and theoretical frameworks -tailored to specific projects. Emphasis is placed on refining the problem statement, establishing aims and objectives, conducting in-depth literature reviews, selecting appropriate methods (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed), and planning for implementation and evaluation. Students also learn about Institutional Review Board processes (as applicable), ethical conduct of scholarly work, and effective communication of scholarly plans. By the end of the course, students will produce and present a finalized and approved Capstone Proposal ready for implementation.
