OCTH 0626 - Neuroscience and Occupation Description This course links foundational knowledge in the neurosciences and occupational science to occupational performance, focusing on nervous system structure and function in development, the role of plasticity, and the effect of trauma and disease. By analyzing differences in central and peripheral nervous system functions, students learn how engagement in occupation affects, and is affected by, neurological processing. This course emphasizes a team approach to learning, self-directed learning, written expression and assessment.
