AYCG I - Clinical Internship for Ayurvedic Health Counselors Description The Clinical Internship for Ayurvedic Health Counselors is for Ayurvedic Wellness Educators or Ayurvedic Health Counselors who want to deepen their clinical skills and obtain hands-on direct experience with patients in a clinical setting. Interns complete a 60-hour, 15-week clinical rotation at the University Health Center. Interns develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary for professional practice. Clinical interns actively participate in patient care and engage in various other educational experiences while under the supervision of Ayurvedic clinical faculty. Clinical interns are required to demonstrate appropriate hygiene in the clinical environment and effective communication with a diverse audience, generate and maintain accurate patient records, and comply with ethical standards and responsibilities involving patient care.
