HGEN 0503 - Population Genetics and Ancestry Analysis Description This course covers the principles of population genetics as applicable to human populations. This includes methods used to provide risk assessment for human genetic disorders including Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium and Bayesian theorem, as well as evolutionary forces and phenomena that impact genetic diversity in human populations, including the uses and limitations of ancestry genetic testing.
