Description
This course covers the principles of population genetics as applicable to human populations. This includes methods used to provide risk assessment for human genetic disorders including Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium and Bayesian theorem, as well as evolutionary forces and phenomena that impact genetic diversity in human populations, including the uses and limitations of ancestry genetic testing.
