PA 104 - Physician Assistant Clinical Applications 4 Description This is the final course in a four-part course series designed to prepare the student for clinical practice. This course will build on history taking, physical exam skills, and documentation learned in previous terms and provide case-based learning opportunities. Emphasis will be placed on mastering the skills required to elicit the medical interview, enhancing physical exam skills, formulating a differential diagnosis and management plan, and becoming proficient at documentation and note writing. The course will focus clinical skills and procedures needed to succeed in clinic. Students will have the opportunity to fine-tune the technical exam and interview skills needed prior to beginning their clinical rotation assignments. At the completion of this course students will be prepared to navigate from a medical complaint to a diagnosis using pertinent information gathered through medical history and physical exams.
