AY 1605 - Ayurvedic History Description This course explores the history that has contributed to the orderly development of the science of Ayurveda, the current global status of Ayurveda with a focus on its role in the healthcare industry of western countries, and in-depth knowledge of the congregation of different medicinal and therapeutic information in the VEDAS. Spiritual influences, deities, sages, and their philosophical contributions to the development of Ayurveda will be discussed, along with an examination of the legendary origin of Ayurveda from various classical texts, archeological findings, and manuscripts in support of historical events.
