AY 2345 - Ayurvedic Internal Medicine IV Description
This course is designed to teach the students how to record, implement and adapt a patient management plan from an Ayurvedic perspective for specific diseases based on the needs of the patient. History taking, signs and symptoms, differential diagnosis, treatment principles, diet, and herbs, for ARTAVAVAHA SROTAS, SUKRAVAHA SROTAS, PRASUTI TANTRA, and KAUMARA BHRTYA will be explained in detail. Additionally, an overview of the Western etiology, pathogenesis and clinical features of conditions equivalent to those discussed from an Ayurvedic perspective will also be discussed. The course encourages students participating in critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills for Ayurvedic patient management.
