II 410 - Immunity and Infection (lecture) Description In this course, students will learn about the structure and function of the immune system, and how it contributes to immunity, immune pathology and susceptibility to infection. Students will learn the factors that contribute to infection and the characteristics of the agents of infection. Additionally, students will explore a systems wide approach to infection including the clinical presentation, infectious agents associated with infection, epidemiological considerations, diagnosis and treatment of infections.
