OCTH 0613 - Older Adult, Occupation and Lifestyle Health Description This course explores the relationship between occupation and the health of older adults who experience physical, mental or emotional limitations. Students learn to gather and analyze evaluation findings to develop evidenced-based and occupation-based intervention plans that are client-centered. Students develop their clinical reasoning skills to address health equity, diversity, occupational justice, lifestyle health, lifelong learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration with the older adult population.
Content and learning activities within this course follow the pedagogical philosophy of this program, utilizing learning by doing and group problem-based learning.
