OCTH 0625 - Modalities and Occupation I with Lab Description Course Description and Relationship to Curricular Design
This course assists the student to investigate and analyze the appropriate application as well as the safe and effective use of Superficial Thermal, Deep Thermal, and Electrotherapeutic Agents, Mechanical Devices, and splint fabrication to support function and occupational engagement for adults. Topics include clinical decision making for use of modalities in practice to support occupational engagement in adults. The curricular threads include a focus on evidence-based, occupation-centered care to support engagement in everyday life activities, well-being, and quality of life.
