OCTH 0651 - Fieldwork Level IB with Seminar Description This clinical course provides the student with the opportunity to experience traditional and emerging practice areas in occupational therapy, inclusive of behavioral health, for adults and older adults. Students will explore concepts of health and disability via hands-on experience with supervision to practice professional skills and influence occupational performance, behavioral health, and health promotion. This second of four Level I Fieldwork courses is embedded into the curriculum in Term 2 to provide students with an experiential component reflecting the curriculum. That is, students ‘learn by doing’ and begin to practice what it means to be a professional and utilize therapeutic use of self in simulated and live client/patient scenarios.
