OCTH 0630 - Modalities and Occupation II Description This course continues the investigation and analysis of the appropriate application of orthotic interventions, as well as the safe and effective use of physical agent modalities (PAMs), splint fabrication and other interventions that are used to support function and occupational engagement for individuals across the lifespan. Students learn the application of clinical reasoning skills within the context physical dysfunction in rehabilitation and orthopedic management. Topics include clinical decision making for the evidence-based use of various modalities interventions in practice to support occupational participation in children, adolescents, and adults.
