CDX 0310A - Introductory Physical Exam Skills - Lecture (IPES - Lec) Introductory Physical Examination Skills is a clinical skills course with the main emphasis on examination of the human body. The student will learn to select examination procedures that correlate with the patient’s history, perform those procedures, use appropriate physical examination techniques, and integrate the findings with the patient’s historical data. Teaching methods include lectures, demonstrations, skills laboratory, and problem based large group discussions that focus on clinical reasoning.
